Tour Program
Today we drive to Pindaya, which is located 40 km north of Aungban and noted for its extensive limestone caves and picturesque lake. We will be passing through the pa-o and Danu villages of Pwehla endless fields of dry cultivated mountain rice and potato.
After lunch, visit Pindaya Cave thousands of Buddha images placed there by pilgrimages over many centuries and paper making and umbrella making home cottage workshops.
In Pindaya, sightseeing, shopping and you will see the Shan people who own fair and soft skin. After that, proceed to Kalaw about 1 hour. Kalaw is an old hill station with a laid back atmosphere, refreshing climate and scenic view and beautiful place for trekking.
Enjoy explore in Kalaw town including Thein Taung Pagoda and monastery, Hnee Pagoda in which you will find 500 year old bamboo Buddha, Shwe U Min Pagoda similar as Pindaya cave.
In the evening back to Inle Lake. Tour ends
