Tour Program
Day 1: Hanoi arrival
You will be warmly welcome upon arrival Hanoi airport by our driver and transfer to your hotel. Free at the rest of the day. Meals are on your own. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 2: Hanoi city tour (B,L)
Morning pick up and enjoy a full day Hanoi city tour including Ho Chi Minh complex (Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Ho Chi Minh Museum, The Presidential Palace, House on stilt and One Pillar Pagoda). Continue to visit the Temple of Literature – the First University of Vietnam. Lunch in a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, visit one of the most interesting museums in Hanoi – The Vietnam Museum of Ethnology. It is not only a valuable centre for the exhibition and the preservation of cultural heritages of the 54 ethnic groups in Vietnam but also a centre for ethnographic research employing many experts on the different ethnic groups. People come to the Museum just not to visit or entertain, but also to learn about these ethnic groups, their cultural diversity and the uniqueness of each group and region, as well as traditional values throughout the Vietnamese country.
Return to Hanoi center for an hour walking tour around Hanoi Old Quarter to discover the daily life of Hanoian. Return to your hotel. Dinner by your own, overnight in Hanoi.
Note: HCM Mausoleum closes on every Mon & Fri. Renovate after 2nd Sep till Dec.
Day 3: Hanoi – Halong Bay (B,L)
Breakfast at hotel before being picked up and transfer to Halong Bay at around 7:45-8:10am. Arrive to Halong at noon and get on our traditional wooden boat/cruise. Enjoy your time for relaxing, sightseeing and swimming. Visit the Floating Fishing village and swimming if the weather permits. Meals are including. Overnight on board.
Day 4: Halong – Hanoi – flight to Da Nang (B,L)
You’ll wake up on the bay to the sounds of waves and birds welcoming the new day. You will have an opportunity to view the sunrise over the bay and after breakfast, visit a beautiful limestone grotto. Then you will have a walk back to the boat for a final glimpse of Halong Bay while cruising back to the dock. Then you will get back Hanoi, transfer to the airport for your flight to Da Nang. Arrive in Da Nang airport, pick up and transfer to your hotel. Dinner is on your own. Overnight in Da Nang.
Day 5: Da Nang free (B)
After breakfast time for free relaxing. Da Nang beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in Vietnam beside with Phu Quoc Island and Con Dao Island. Meals are on your own. Overnight in Da Nang.
Day 6: Da Nang free (B)
After breakfast free time on beach resort for free relaxing or visiting Da Nang city. Meals are on your own. Overnight in Da Nang.
Day 7: Da Nang – My Son holyland – Hoian (B)
In the morning, our guide will come to meet you at your hotel for the transfer to My Son, a World Heritage, 50 km southwest of Hoi An. Located in a lush valley, My Son was a capital and religious center of Cham people, now remaining with red brick towers and sanctuaries. My Son, considered to be in the same league as some of Southeast Asia’s greatest archaeological sites, including Angkor in Cambodia, Bagan in Myanmar, Ayutthaya in Thailand and Borobudur in Indonesia. These towers and sanctuaries was built from the 7 to 13 centuries. Spend times to discover this area and return to Hoian town at noon.
Free at the rest of the day for your shopping or discover the ancient town. Meals are on your own. Overnight in Hoian
Day 8: Hoian free (B)
Today is your free day for relaxing, leisurely walking around Hoi An town & enjoy local food. Meals are on your own. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 9 : Hoi An – flight to Saigon – City Tour (B)
Morning transfer to Da Nang airport for your flight to Saigon. Upon arrive to Saigon, our driver picks up you at airport to hotel. Around 13:00 start the city tour half day including:
Visit Notre Dame Cathedral and Saigon Post Office, two of the best highlights of old Saigon architecture.
Walk to the nearby Reunification Palace, witness of the historic events of old Saigon and famous for its architectural characteristics.
Discover the very popular War Remnants Museum, the one that gathers a comprehensive collection of the machinery, weapons, photographs and documentation of the Vietnam wars.
Stop by the Jade Emperor Pagoda, one of the most spectacularly colorful temples, dedicated to King of Heaven and filled with exquisite and phantasmal statues.
Drive back to the hotel. Meals are on your own and overnight in Saigon.
Day 10: Saigon – Cai Be floating market – Saigon (B,L)
Around 8am depart from your hotel and drive to Cai Be (120km/ ~2.5hrs). Upon arrival, board a private boat to visit Cai Be floating market and discover local life. Continue cruising along small canals to an ancient house on An Binh Island. Enjoy fresh seasonal tropical fruits and have lunch before taking a short row on a local sampan along the river. Get back on motor boat to the Nursery Garden of Mr Tam Ho before visiting brick and pottery kilns. In the afternoon, drive back to Ho Chi Minh City. Overnight in Saigon.
Day 11: Saigon free day (B)
After breakfast free time for shopping around (suggested places: Ben Thanh market, China town). Enjoy local food such as Banh Xeo, Hu Tieu, Bun Bo… Meals are not included. Overnight in Saigon
Day 12: Saigon departure (B)
Free time until transferring time to airport for onward flight. End of the tour.
